Status Visualization Dialog

Used to recolor the VCM according to the current status of the component. You can color incrementally, which includes at least two disciplines, such as Pipe and Equipment. You can view the model with the status of the pipe on top of the status of equipment. Status inputs are processed by the Administrator and are taken from an external data source and are only as current as the last time Status Visualization was processed.

Opens when Status Visualization > Status Visualization is selected from the ConstructSim menu.

Setting	Description
Status Category	Lists which discipline a component belongs to such as Equipment or Pipe. The ConstructSim Planner administrator populates the status category list during data processing.
Status Type	Lists the tracking modules available for the project. If more modules are required, ask your administrator to process and load the additional modules to the project Model.
Status Fields	Contains the legend of the color code to the 3D View and the Component Status. These colors attributes can be reset. In the Color column, click the color you want to change. From the color picker (or Color dialog, if you select More) that displays, pick the color you want to use and click Apply Color Changes.
Apply Color Changes	The option is available after you select a new color in a Status Fields Color column. Once you click the button, you are asked if you want to recolorize the view.
Component Status	The Component Status section lists components with the selected component and status type.
Find Components	Use this field to specify the search string (component) to be located in the dialog.
Find Next	Click to find the next component according to the search criteria. The next component in the Component Status group box will be selected or highlighted.
Number of components listed	Shows the number of components listed in the Component Status.
(Colorize) All	Colors the VCM according to the selected Life Cycle Tracking.
Selected	Colors the selected component in the Status Table according to the status field colors.
Unselect	When status is colored, it allows the color to be seen.
Incremental	Allows you to color the VCM of two or more components.
Reset All	Returns the colors to default color choices.
(Focus) All	Hides all components except for those listed in the Status Table.
Selected	Shows only the component selected in the Component Status table.
Unfocus	Removes the focus on the selected component and displays all components.
Refresh	Reloads the Status Table.
Configure	Opens the Status Configuration dialog which allows you to assign the attributes that appear in the Status Table.
Close	Closes the dialog.
